How we work.

SonTeno combines revenue leadership, research and client operations. Every engagement runs on one of three methods.

Community-led growth

DEAR

Develop, Engage, Activate, Retain: a system for reaching buyers inside the communities they already trust, measured on a CRO's dashboard.

GTM advisory

Operator first

Revenue leadership from people who have carried a number: pipeline discipline, team structure and an operating rhythm that makes revenue predictable.

Research

Every claim sourced

Our research reads the public record, checks every claim against its source, and publishes its corrections rather than applying them silently.

The Offtake →

From our CEO

Four years of nuclear engineering. Twenty years in revenue.

Bijay Alex Mathew is CEO and co-founder of SonTeno. He studied nuclear engineering for four years at the University of Cincinnati and completed its co-op program with three and a half years at Fernald, a federal uranium processing site in Ohio. He holds degrees in Economics and Political Science from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from Western Governors University. He has spent over twenty years selling technology, across SMB, mid-market, enterprise, association and government buyers, at Verizon, Momentive Software, Chatfuel and Panopto. He currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Art of Mentoring.

Those two careers meet at SonTeno. Community-led growth comes from years of selling into and being a member of associations and professional communities. The Offtake comes from the engineering, applied to a question the engineering alone cannot answer: who will buy the power? The research argues that in nuclear, as in any market, the binding constraint is usually trust, whether a lender's, a buyer's or a community's.

He presented DEAR — a community-led growth framework — at the Revenue Operations Alliance CRO Summit in Austin in June 2026, and leads the Austin chapter of Pavilion.
